Grammys Corgi Country

I write these in the evening and post the next day so this may seem a day late, but it’s still Veteran’s Day for me. I do want to say how grateful I am to all those men and women out there who gave a slice of their lives to protect our country and it’s way of life.

It is so great to see so many people that celebrate this day to honor our brave men and women. It touches my heart especially, because my husband is a Veteran from the Vietnam Era and for many years he felt as if he was something dirty because of the way that he was treated when he wore his Air Force uniform home during a leave. Over the past several years, since this country has stood up for our Vets, much of his hurt has melted away, and I am very thankful for that. He is a wonderful man and did what he felt was the right thing to give up a few years of his life to serve his country.

Some may not agree with our Country’s stand on foreign affairs and sending our troops into different areas, but those troops still deserve our support and appreciation because they do it for us. I also want to send my appreciation out to those who are family members and friends of our troops, for they, too, give up a lot when their loved ones sacrifice their time with them and sometimes much more. I pray for God’s Blessings on all those who have served and for the ones that love them. Thank You so much !!!
